Medical device manufacturers can participate by submitting their medical products to MET for RFID testing.
MET Labs will protect anonymity of the test vendors and confidentiality of the test results. MET Labs will only share test data with FDA and AIMglobal pertaining to the validity of a finalized test protocol.
- Manufacturer associated engineer(s) needs to be present during testing and provide setup and operating instructions. The support will include diagnosing the issue, assessing the criticality of the problem (impact on the device) and confirming validity of test results. MET will help with determining the cause of the issues and will provide advice on how to mitigate the problem.
- The RFID testing will take 1 day to complete for each submitted device.
